Trying to get Rustbolt Rep, trying to do everything there. However, this guest is simply impossible. Wowhead says stay away from prospectus Bay and make a macro to locate rusty microbolts. I did and traveled all over the island clicking on the macro. No rusty microbolts found. I’m at a serious point where nothing works to complete the quest. Suggestions?
You can kill some of the robots and use the device near them. The tiny ones are just a bonus, but it’s never worth it to look for them.

My God. Tried of wasting all this time, time I could be using trying to get invites to N raids. Hell, be the end of questing for Rep, no wonder there’s no time to gear up for AotC.
Stark is right; ignore Wowhead’s suggestion, dump the macro and just kill bots in the area. In and out in minutes.

But you see, tickets to blizzard always refer me to wowhead. It’s supposed to be gospel.
Do I understand your comment correctly, that you created a ticket with Blizzard over finding this quest too hard to do?
He claims he worked on this quest for 6 hours too. Some believe he is still doing the quest till this day.

I just did the daily reward for 900 rep after the intro quests , got max rep a few weeks ago.
Sometimes its just better to let go of this ‘do all method’.
