Trying to do Dragon Isles with an alt is aggravating as heck. At level 69, just 18,000 point from 70, almost ALL of the quest in Valdrakken are white exclamation points for me. Why? Not high enough level? Not enough faction? How about the game DROP A HINT? This is not good at all.
Most of the leveling experience in DF is supposed to be in the other zones besides the capital city. Certainly, you won’t see much indication for the main campaign sequence unless you’re out in the field, but at a minimum you should see initial campaign quests (quest markers in a pentagon flag shape) in each zone, even if you chose not to follow the campaign sequence from Waking Shores to Oh’naran Plains to the Azure Span.
Why are all the quests unavailable to me? I’m just trying to gear up this alt. Even Karazal by the battle map in Wingrest Embassy shows a white exclamation point. I went to the forbidden reach. Nothing there. Opening the quest log, it states to continue the campaign by accepting “Fourth Challenge of Tyr:” The fourth challenge is a DUNGEON. I don’t do dungeons. So I’m just stuck? I can’t switch to some other campaign? IMO, this just appears broken. I guessing the account wide achievements are having bad side effects. Edit: At level 70, all the quests opened up. Now that makes absolutely NO sense.
