How do I get into VoA when Horde always in control? Been trying for months now and it’s never in Alliance control. I tried soloing it, it was a epic fail. Tried recruiting people, no one wants to do it.
If you wish to leave developmental feedback, you’ll want to post in General Discussion or one of the PvP forums. The devs don’t come here for player feedback or questions.
dude, no one is answering me at all, I tried everywhere. I’m sick and tired of not being able to do my transmog run because it’s always in one factions control. This is ridiculous.
Your not going to get an answer from the devs. Its working as designed. Its old content unfortunately and you can’t force people to join in if they don’t want to. It does swap, I’m horde and I’ve often seen it up under alliance control. That’s just the nature of a multi player game. This forum is for player to player help tho, so if you want to see something changed post in the pvp forums but don’t expect an answer, they just collate the feedback and submit it to the devs, its not a conversation. All you can do is keep trying in the lfg when its up or try to catch it when its your faction.
How do I get into vaults then? Are you telling me that there is no way I can get into it because others don’t want to do it anymore? Why am I being forced to do vaults for a tier piece from Naxx? Trust me, I also don’t want to do vaults but sadly the tier set from naxx , the gloves, only drops in vaults. Also I tried lfg, lfm, no one wants to do it. I tried soloing it, but it was a fail.
Like I said, youl just have to wait until it is under alliance control, talk to your guild, organise a group event. Use the communities feature to find other people looking to achieve the same result. It sucks but that’s how wintergrasp works. You can also use a horde toon and access it, the tmog will become available across your account if you don’t want to wait.
I don’t have a horde character that is the same class for the tier I want. For example, if I use a horde shaman to do vaults and the cloth tier drops, it won’t give me that transmog to my priest because the class is not the same. The only way to do on horde is you have to have the same exact class and that’s how the transmog will go cross-faction. It’s never in alliance control, been trying for months now. I already asked lfg, lfm, general chat, trade chat, guild, other forums of wow, reddit, mmo-champion, no one wants to do it. So basically you want me to wait and sit in front of my computer screen 24/7 to see if it will go in alliance control? I have a life friend.
Pretty sure it only needs to be the same armor class, not the class itself. EX: A plate user will get all the mogs for all plate gear regardless of the class unlocks it.
I don’t see where anyone suggested that you do that. Look, it comes down to how important those pixels in a video game are to you. Either you’ll keep trying to find a group to do it, or you’ll move on. You’re not “forced” to do anything.
Asking your guild for some help is a great idea. If your guild isn’t that active or interested, maybe look at switching to a guild that would be willing to help.
There are options available to you.
That’s only if it’s not a tier piece, if it’s a tier piece, it won’t work, it has to be for the same class. You can’t be a plate dk and collect tier pieces for a warrior, it just doesn’t work that way.
Okay… but there is no tier piece out of Vault of Archavon that cannot be acquired anywhere else in Northrend.
Tier 7 can be acquired wholly within Naxx, Obsidian Sanctum, and Eye of Eternity.
Tier 8 can be acquired wholly within Ulduar.
Tier 9 is Trial of the Crusader.
Tier 10 in Ice Crown Citadel.
VoA also drops PvP gear, but that can all be bought from a vendor in Dalaran.
The only drops unique to VoA are the mounts. If your goal is transmog as you have previously stated, then go do other raids in Northrend. They’re all solo-able by any class these days.
Stonewatcher drops tier gloves that naxx does not. So yes vaults has a drop that you need in order to complete the tier set because the gloves themselves don’t drop in nax but only in 25 man voa.
You’re in a guild, enlist their aid.
Guild doesn’t want to help. I asked many times in Guildchat, no responses and there is like 20 of em online.
Go run Sartharion in Obsidian Sanctum. He drops the Tier 7 Conquerors token which can be converted to those same gloves.
As I said, the entirety of Tier 7 is available outside of VoA. VoA was designed as a bonus raid, only the mounts are unique to it.
Maybe it’s time to find a better guild.
Find a better guild that doesn’t mind doing old content. I’ve seen plenty of those around. I’ve also seen people put up posts recruiting for old content. You can put something up in the LFG section and see if it fills up. Post something in Trade chat about it.
Thing is you have to work to get this done. Nobody is going to do it for you and there are no quick fixes. This is not something you NEED it is something you WANT.
I have no clue which tokens you are talking about but as far as where the gloves drop. The nax 25 man gloves only drop in Voa.
Only drop in 25 man voa.
These: https://www.wowhead.com/item=40613/gloves-of-the-lost-conqueror
Back in the day, Tier Gear was bought in exchange for these tokens that dropped off of the boss. You got the token, took it to the vendor and exchanged it for the raid loot.
Tokens are still there.
If you want Tier 7, run Sarth on 10 man. If you want Tier 7.5, run it on 25.
Heh, also… if you just want the Tier 7… these used to be sold for Emblems of Heroism (alternate currency during Wrath) with the updates made over the years that got converted to gold. You can literally buy the Tier 7 token from cloth vendor in Dalaran now.
So then why is it showing me on wowhead and ingame that it drops off stonewatcher in VoA?
