Try the "Priorities Challenge" to make the game more interesting

For anyone wanting to make the game a bit more interesting/challenging here are the rules for the Priorities Challenge:

  1. The auction house is completely off limits except for when you hit an even level and even then you go one time only.
  2. Your class trainer is also completely off limits except for when you hit an even level and even then you go one time only.

This means you have to make a choice to go train first and then go to the auction house or vice versa. There is no going to the trainer or the auction house more than once permitted. If you bid on an item and someone bids higher, you lose the item, no going back to bid again allowed.

In other words, lets say you go to the trainer first and decide to only train one ability and skip the rest to save gold for the auction house and when you get there the selection isn’t great, too bad, you already visited the trainer, you won’t see him/her again for two levels.

Make your choice and accept the consequences.

Is this one of those times you try to tell us millennials aren’t retarded, then type up another one of these retard ā€œchallengesā€?

Not a millenial, I’m a vanilla retail vet that’s getting bored of nerfed 1.12 already.

Throw in requiring no gear and zero deaths on pvp server as well.

I’m assuming this includes posting stuff on the AH? Sounds interesting.

I take it you’re 60 years old thinking all other generations are retarded

Have to have a mouth full of cinnamon and dump a bucket of water on your head while you do it

Yes it does, you only get to post on the auction house that one visit.

That sounds like it would make it more tedious than it already is. I fail to see how that would make things more ā€˜interesting’.

I mean, this is mostly what i already do anyways. The economy is so wacky right now that i rarely buy anything besides profession materials and I’ve completely stopped that for now because i need mount money.

Leveling got much easier around 1.3 when they nerfed training costs.

Who does this outside of every two levels?

Now that I’ve got a mount I’ve stopped by when passing stormwind a few times, to catch up on moves I kinda need but missed at the time.

It makes it so you can’t come back with more gold later on, you have to make your choice and live with it for two levels.

I sometimes don’t bother for five levels and it isn’t because of the gold either.

I feel like I do this by default.

The best way to do it is to have a bank alt to mail drops to for AH purposes, and to only go back when an important ability is trainable. So… this is standard.

I only go to the trainer every two levels anyways… AH is too overcrowded and waste of money at the moment.

Am I doing it right?

How is it a waste of money? Everything is dirt cheap.
