I have been thinking while making coffee. I have a theory! It is not related to bunnies though.
The WoW forum permissions are wonky due to the customization.
- Beta group = account level permissions and has priority over
- Char level “accounts” - which is where the trust levels for WoW forums are supposed to be assigned.
In theory you should have had your posting char for WoW put into a Beta group with temp TL3 permissions for those forums. However, instead they put the whole Bnet account in a Beta group with perma permissions. Those account permissions over ride the intended char level permissions.
I can’t wait until someday the WoW forums just work like the other ones.
Now, to see if I still believe that theory once I get coffee.
