I was implying if your suggestion was implemented.
That’s not true. I’ve stated I welcome the challenge because that is how you improve. It’s ironic that you are saying that I’m projecting here.

Projecting.
Projecting.
But it is a possibility. The point is do not judge by projecting. You never know who is on the other side of the Screen.
All ages play this game! Just because it is a Premade it means not that they are taking it as seriously as others or that they suck necessarily etc.
The majority of people play games for fun!
And this is a problem when the gameplay does not permit for balanced competition.
I think we do need to separate the queues.
How does a separate queue help this poor team?
It will help this team by challenging them to do Better as a Premade Team versus other Premade teams, invite them to review their performance, make adjustments, maybe they are not using potions at the right time, Maybe the Team composition is not optimal etc. Maybe some individuals do not have adequate gear etc etc, or it is a question of Tactics used versus Tactics or other Premades.
They cannot gauge themselves versus an unprepared PUG. Pugs do not have established Tactics even let alone preps or composition etc since all these are random factors in the case of PUGS.
As I said before, two different Ball Games.
All the while having separate Qeueues does not diminish the quality of the game or PvP any one bit, since playing in a Premade or Playing in a PUG is not exclusive and all players still have the option to play as they see fit mix and match or not.
And at the same time you ensure that more balanced (and thus FUN) match-ups are done since apples will be fighting apples and oranges will be fighting oranges no matter how as an individual you wish to play today as an orange or as an apple.
So it is beneficial from many aspects for all!
I want to love this exponentially!
The team I referenced are the most terrible players. They will sooner queue solo than group together if solo becomes more attractive to them.
We all rank in the same system. I don’t support splintering queues into a casual solo experience while leaving group play as strongly competitive. Not without a skill rating or offering less rewards for solo. None of which deserves to be in Classic.
A pug group fighting a pug group is the equivalent of a premade fighting as premade.
Except it’s not. The skill gap between 2 premades can be far greater.
And? Pug groups can also have a huge swing in skill.
It can’t be a compared. The better teams make minimal mistakes, if any at all. Pugs will always have a random factor no matter how skilled they are individually.
And? That doesn’t change that pug groups have the same random swing where they might be matched up against a simply better team.
The matching system can’t account for that. It can easily account for premades vs pugs however, just as it accounts for things like player level and number of players joining the match.
By splintering the queue and providing a deterrent for more casual players to group together.
That’s fine, just give premades less honor when fighting pugs.
Then casual premades can continue pug stomp but it would be a behavior that is no longer incentivized.
Lets not deter group play in an MMO.
Pugs are groups, matching them with premades deters them.
Yes, by providing an incentive to form a group ahead of time. This is how it’s always worked.
You didn’t play in Vanilla. Back then, you might run into a few premades in a few days. It was absolutely nothing like this.
Sure, but for some reason premades are far more prevalent in classic than they were in vanilla.
As such blizzard should adjust the matching system to account for it, as they have done with other issues with the matching system.
No it is not, it is just different.
You just cannot recognize that difference and you form a perception out of self-entitlement.
Look at you arguing “The Rewards must be less for PUGS”, already this indicates you have a Biased view of PUGS, you think that Premades are superior if not see yourself as superior than other players just because what you choose to make a Premade? LOL.
This is exactly the attitude which led to Classic turning in to Retail you know. The changes were put in there to eliminate the elitism seeking exclusivity through self-entitlement and to render the game more accessible to more players.
So instead of asking PUGS to have less, maybe you should ask for Premades to Have More. And I would agree with that. Maybe the best Teams should have recognition for Bragging rights, a Ranking Broad a Team name etc.
But the rest of the game should not change around you, it is quite arrogant to think that your the center of it all.
and if that is not enough for you you are welcome to join a PUG. ![]()
