Should I be casting Arcane Shot at all during Trueshot? I ask because when I do, I run out of focus to spend on Aimed Shot.
It hurts me on so many levels reading this. This is the consequence of Blizzard’s “brilliant” class design - people get frustrated when the spec mechanics aren’t even synergising with burst ability.
But to answer your question - no, you shouldn’t use Arcane if you have Aimed Shot charges during Trueshot. Especially if you’re Night Fae with Serpentstalker legendary. Even more so if it’s a raid fight, you have bloodlust/hero up and boss is >70% hp.
Yes you can cast Arcane shot during trueshot but only if aimed shot and rapid fire are on cd and you will have enough focus to cast aimed shot once its off cd. You wont be spamming it of course but it’s worth using arcane shot when you can. Generally when I do have enough focus to use it is when I have blood lust or power infusion during that window.

Only to spend 1 precise shot stack, don’t dump two at once, if aimed shot and rapid fire are on CD go ahead and spend 1 stack of PS.
