True Sizes of models

I cannot describe how badly I wish all races were true too there lore as far as size goes.

I don’t even care if my Tauren characters would have to crawl into small buildings. The true to size concept would be to lore. One of the biggest reasons I loved the entire game universw was the diversity of all the races. I mean there are lots of reasons, but Tauren are supposed to be huge. But they literally had 3-5 feet chopped off of their size based on lore and the books.

Except we can’t crawl in this game, so all Tauren would just be complaining they can’t get through doorways.

it would help immersion.
as a short race id like to be " dwarfed " by the other tall folk.
pun intended btw.

Tauren and other tall species are still pretty huge, even they aren’t allegedly true to canon in game. this is especially obvious if one is stood next to a comparably smaller one, like Humans. I can’t say I see the point of wanting to be bigger.

bigger is always better ;3

Tauren are supposed to be 10 feet and a rarity of 12 feet. Instead in-game they are 7 feet. The point is just Canon. The point is that all races have a definition, a defined characteristic.

How much sense would it make for dwarves to be as tall as humans? Or humans the size of night elves? The point is definition of individuality. I play Tauren because I’m huge, I’m majestic. I’m awesome and gorgeous. Why make me a little bigger than a human?

facts.
pure facts.
truly majestic creatures

While one can appreciate that sense of immersion that you are after, your wish would impede on otherwise happy and healthy (mostly) Tauren that do like it as it is.

Imagine if it was fully immersive, void elf players would be getting random void whispers all the time.

I would love your idea in a future development of WoW maybe when/if it goes VR officially.

I still feel the sizes relative to each other are arguably notable enough to represent the diversity of scale.

Don’t they already?

My VE spriest never leaves home with out the xily dagger.

The only 3 races ingame not shown at lore size are Worgen, Tauren and Pandaren. Tauren are 8 feet tall when they should be 10 but they wouldn’t fit indoors as most buildings in wow have a 9 foot 5 inch ceiling clearance. Worgen are also in the too small boat as in lore they are 8 feet tall for the females ingame Worgen are 6 feet 10 inches. Pandaren are the odd outlines as they are lore size of 6 feet to 6 feet 5 inches and in game they are almost 7 feet tall for some odd reason they are currently taller than Night Elves. Size is odd in WOW while I understand the reason for Tauren the other two races could use the correct lore size.

Now that you have pointed out how small Tauren are… thats a game changer.

#quitting.

Aren’t Orcs supposed to dwarf humans? I know I’ve read that somewhere.

They aren’t. If you take the human male and set him as a base average of 6 feet, then Tauren are just short of 9 feet.

I’d also like it if major NPCs weren’t 40 feet taller than me ;(
