So curious, do those that had deep WoW gold pockets get to keep the drake items purchased before the fix was implemented from AH purchases or do these changes get rolled back? I didn’t even realize it was a thing until i inspected some toons in Valdrakken and wondered how i could earn more than 8 trophies per week, yet some toons were rolling around with what should have taken two weekly resets to achieve. Unless, I’m missing an alternative way to earn more than 8 trophies this week?

No you’re not missing anything, those are just the exploiters that follow the new “exploit early, exploit often” meta.

And no repercussions? They simply get to remain 2 weeks ahead of everyone else? Not that its a huge deal, but also shouldnt be a big problem to parse the character dB’s and script a roll back. Nowbthat I’ve been browsing the forums tonight. It appears some other things were exploited recently too, not saying you should be banned from buying stuff off the AH, but it shouldn’t be that hard to reverse.
Yup just like how they reversed the one month crafting exploit bans that now have given players months and months of a head start on a time gate than those who don’t exploit and chose to play the game fair. Or the several exploits before it. Even a streamer got geared from one of them.
As far as I know they removed the gear from the people that bought stuff. Are you seeing characters as of tonight that still have more items than they should?
