Vanilla allowed all sorts of things that people could do. The chat system, for instance, allowed people to impersonate other players by parsing lines a certain way.
Me? I’d catch people by telling them that there was this new feature implemented. It was a command that put down a fire and a tent for you and you can see it yourself by typing /camp

Yeah, that’s a dirty Gnome player for you!
I like that mage, he’s my kinda player! Oh those comments warm my heart!
Remember when you could use the text to voice command in Ventrilo?
I used to have the robot voice say, “Sprinkler, TS TS TS TS TS TS TS TS TS TS” anytime a boss died, showering us with epics.
My favorite trolling was in PvP though. In the open world. AFK at a Rich Thorium Vein. I’d just sit there fully buffed and juiced and eat some chips and dip and inevitably some feeble Undead would crawl up to the node and either stare at me and attempt to farm it, or open on me. And then I’d blow them up.
I also enjoyed playing my Druid alt and sitting down in bear form in Ratchet on the flight master goblin. Horde don’t flag in the Barrens, but Allies sure do when they try and click the flight master.
Those goblin guards straight clubbing level 35 noobs to death while I ate dinner. Ah, good times.

Me: Why is it called an Xbox 360? Because when you see it, you turn 360 degrees, and walk away…
Random: “Wait, but you turn 360 degrees, then you’ll be facing it…”
