Trolli promotion is a scam

Yikes, went to walgreens, bought the gummy worms, sent my receipt in on the 6th, and got a notification that it was submitted successfully.
Never heard back from them.
Sent another one, they told me I used a duplicate image (duh). I sent an email explaining the situation they told me they’ll look into it. Today they closed my complaint.

I also bought a second gummy pack, thinking ok no big deal. They closed it for using same credentials (phone email name I assume). Still have yet to get anything. No gummi worm pet on my account.

Is this who Blizzard makes promotions with? Scammers? This is just disgusting.

To anybody who has their gummi pet, congrats. To those who don’t yet, don’t bother buying. Just find a code floating around on reddit instead. If they lose your code they won’t work with you and then block you from trying again.

edit: after a two week endeavor, I finally got it. It was slow, painful, annoying and there was definitely bad faithing from trolli, but its not a scam. This was a very bad way to do the promotion. Blizzard, please don’t do it this way again.

They really should have just printed a serial code inside the wrapper or something.

I have a friend who got the gummy worm and at least one of the tabards so a few days ago I know this was working fine.

It’s not “a scam.”

Did you at least enjoy your gummy worms?

Like I said, congrats to those who did. I have two receipts, tried numerous times to work with them, sent emails and they just closed me and won’t allow any more submissions (probably to avoid people grifting the codes on ebay) but this doesn’t change the fact that I didn’t get my code. In fact, people around on forums and reddit have been complaining they weren’t getting theirs.

It’s a scam. Just because they disperse a few codes to people doesn’t mean theyre genuine or good faith. Even pyramid schemes have occasional winners, doesn’t make it a genuine strategy.

Nope. Maybe its karma.

Mine worked just fine. Check your spam folder and follow the instructions.

I did, good sir.
Spam/promotions/updates whatever gmail has. I searched. It’s not there, never was. And they do have my correct email because I got a verification of submission.
Tried a different receipt with different email, sent them emails asking for the promotion.
Nada. And they closed my complaint so it won’t be happening.

That would make the solution too easy.

Guildies have reported this works just fine for them. One of them is even nice enough to get me one.

I know bro, sadge.

Yeah, getting codes from others is the move. Just don’t buy them or support them.

This right here is what screws it all up. Everyone I know except one person got their codes. Some in a couple of days, some in a week. But the one person who didn’t, they resent their stuff because they got impatient, got denied and never got their code.

The promotion is a stupid one, though. I like what Palia did with Madrinas. This “send me your receipt” stuff is ridiculous.

My wife got her pet, I am awaiting mine, but I need to check my email and activate it if I have it.

Bro mistakes happen in the world. You’re not “being scammed” someone made a mistake. Be glad it was a candy promotion and not a medical emergency this time.

Let’s try this together:

“A mistake is not a scam.”

Go on you can do it,

“A mistake is not a scam.”

Just buy another one and use a different email.

I was frustrated because i was told you can only get the pet or the tabard, the site didnt even give me a choice and it gave me the pet that i didnt care about -_-

First pic I sent in took a couple days, got rejected because too much was missing. Folded it swnt it in, took tge weekend and till Tuesday, thought they forgot it or something but sure enough eventually got my email and pet.

Already tried.

It is in Blizzard’s interest to correct their mistakes, and to work with companies that promote good faith interests for benefit of multiple parties. It is in my interest to get benefits in mine direction as well. Trolli failed out in their end, so I’m engaging in voting of the proverbial wallet by calling them out.
If a company is shady, has poor support, or won’t reach to their end of the bargain they should be correctly called out. Its for other people’s benefits as well; we don’t want more players scammed.

It was 5 days after I sent it. People who bought it after me got it earlier. It’s possible what you say is true, but it was already not being sent. It’s logical of course the people who resent it are the ones who never got it, as opposed to resending it creates a problem.

Regardless, I got in contact with them, they said they’ll investigate it, and closed the inquiry without offering a solution. Worst comes to worst they send me the exact code I was meant to have anyways. I tried with a second receipt and now they won’t accept them anymore. This is not ok.

I think walgreens/dollars general/ circle K offer tabards.

Check your spam folder(s). It’s likely there somewhere. They closed your complaint because to them, they already sent your reward email and you tried to submit the same thing again.

You might also try scrolling down in the original email. They SHOULD have sent a separate one, but sometimes they do just have multiple replies under the same email. I think this is mostly if you are redeeming more than one thing on the same submission, but maybe your “reward” email got shunted under the “submission received” one?

You can use the same credentials multiple times as long as it’s a separate receipt. I did this thing twice because I realized I bought from the wrong store the first time (I wanted the Crimson Tabard and went to Walgreens, oops).

I don’t know why you’re having so much trouble, but worst case you could always just use an alternate email, probably?
