Ud wotf seems super good but I prefer looking at trolls and Tier 5 on troll male looks so good coming in tbc. Looks are nice but how good is shadowguard compared to wotf any thoughts? 
I’m partial to Troll, Shadow Guard black out synergy, hex of weakness against paladins and berserking is super good.
However, undead have wotf and that makes matchups against anything with fear a breeze.
So pick your battles on what you want to do with that Priest.
troll shadowguard lets you get more blackout procs, and hex of weakness is kinda needed for a few gimmicky 3v3 teams
if I were playing shadow its 50/50 depending on the team you wanna play, but if I were healing in PvP100% I would go undead

Don’t discount Female Undead.
Personally I like Female Undead casting animations a bit more, and they look better on mounts.
If we’re talking Burning Crusade you get a 3rd choice, Blood Elves can also be priests.

Not really.
UD Priest vs Warlock : Priest loses.
UD Priest vs Priest : Never ending battle till they both are oom or their friends show up.
UD Priest vs Warrior : Gear check for the warrior. If gear, then warrior wins.
Troll Priest vs Warlock : Priest loses.
Troll Priest vs Priest : Slight troll advantage. Hex means the other priest generally goes oom first.
Troll Priest vs Warrior : Gear check for the warrior. If gear, then warrior wins.
WotF is a hugely overrated pvp racial, at least for small pvp. For priests, it doesn’t change any matchups in a meaningful way.
Now, for group pvp, it’s very very strong as it negates chain fear bombs from priests/wars.
Embrace da voodoo! Troll shadow priests are the best! I almost switched to horde just so I could play a troll shadow priest.

I don’t really care about duel situations. Avoiding getting stuck in a fear CC in the middle of a BG is a big deal and can allow you to make game winning plays.

troll looks cooler, but WOTF is broken if you want to pvp

1v1 pvp isn’t what people usually consider when they think about how racials match up, normally we’re talking about group pvp

Depends on whether you’re playing shadow or not. Dev plague is quite strong.
as far as i know both ud and troll are strong as spriest in tbc.

troll though troll men do have posture problems. No armor looks good on undead with all the bones sticking out.
Posture problems? Male trolls have by far the best tea-bagging technique in the game. No other class can dip that bag in the cup as deep as a Troll.
And if animation are an issue, female troll is extremely well proportioned and has nice attack animations, second to the undead female.
