Troll Loa based "Subclasses". Monk and Death Knight

Sort of like Zandilari paladin.

I read that the wild gods the trolls think are Loa. the Panderian worship the August Celestials which are basically Wild gods, the trolls would think they are Loa.

That being said i’m always under the believe that in a RP space or rather in universe not every class is the “Generic” Vesion we see in game, and it’s true just the devs cant show it. Example, Tauren are Sunwalkers, Preists of all kinds arent just light worshippers but spiritual leaders (whether they knowly draw for light sources for their power or not) a lot of races belief systems are like our own world where there are a lot in lore even if there’s sometimes only a page of lore to support.

That being said. Could a troll monk simply just be a really good hand to hand fighter empowered by troll rituals and Loa or do they HAVE to be Panderan trained?

Death Knight too. I made a really cool blood death knight troll. Could a troll death knight actually be a Loa servant? Like, basically being a “dark paladin”, Basically being a tribal warrior like a shaman would but his powers are from Bwonsamdi or Hakkar? We basically know that the Zan troll “paladins” are basically Warriors of Rezan and followers Empowered by Loa. So you can be labeled a “Death knight” in game but in your story you’re actually just a Darkspear Blood Warrior or some type of Empowered magical juggernaut fighter and not simply just a “Servant of the lich king” ?

Most definitely!

Zandalari trolls got a lot of cool RP options. I have a monk who worships Pa’ku as windwalker and a DK servant of Bwomsamdi is on my list of alts to level up someday.

Every class/race combination should have a little bit of exclusive lore instead of “Bolvar raised a zandalari, lol” or “warlocks for everybody, because why not?”

Roleplay always involves some dissonance between what the game thinks your character is, and what you think your character is. Different people are going to be comfortable with different levels of dissonance.

Both of these character ideas involve this kind of dissonance, sure, but not really a lot of it. They’re perfectly plausible. If it works for you, great.

Personally, I find the Death Knight concept entirely believable, but I’d have a hard time with the Monk one. The Monk class’s animations are just too cartoon-kung-fu for me to read them as anything other than Pandaren.
