Troll flight form currently is using a normal bird’s animations for skyriding. All of the other druid flight forms in the game look fine from what I can test (only the default racial ones since we can’t copy characters).
But a bat should not be flapping and folding it’s wings inwards and spinning in circles. It’s not a bird.
Probably want to throw it over in the beta forum. But I gotta ask, do the bat mounts use the same animations or unique ones?
They’re from Shadowlands and some BfA content, all being rare drops, but you’d think they’d just use the same animatioons
This was supposed to be on the beta forums, looks like it got mixed up. And I don’t know, I can’t test it because we can’t copy our mounts over to beta. I’m hoping the bats have good animations, they should NOT be flying like birds lol.
This could affect ALL druids though because any druid can learn bat form, trolls just have them as their default racial.
Worth the ask, was hoping you had one of 'em lurking around but given they’re rare drops
If you do want one, I think the easiest way is technically Castle Nath meta because its the only guaranted one, but the island expedition one is probably the most farmable without, y’know, having to go back into SL content
Yeah, I’ve got them on my main, but we can’t copy our mounts to Beta right now, it’s bugged. You start off in beta with a few mounts and that’s it. You start with I think like 20 mounts?
Normaly in BETA you can use any mount you can use on your main account. Right now we can’t use any mounts except the ones we start out with, which is only like 20 of them.
Curious if they’ll update the troll bat with some aspects of the harronir bat. 
Biggest issue is that the flight form birds can land, but troll (bat) flight form just cannot lol.
And it’s been like that forever.
WoW bats can’t stand on their feet, apparently (in real life they can crawl).
That’s the wyvern rig so I don’t think so
Doing some digging and it does look like the regular bats have unique dragon-riding animations
Some of them are pretty okay at it in the vampire bat side of things, I’d love 'em getting proper animations for sitting around
