if you forget to grab the other item it completely bugs out the quest line

i didnt pick it up as well after turning in the quest with the moth. now can’t progress covenant. r.i.p
and its new years so no ticket response .
sadly these kind of bugs should not exist because they should have been tested by the devs themselves, this is just another issue on top of many others that proves they rushed this expansion.
Same thing happen to me last night. Now I’m stuck and can’t move forward.
wowhead claims Sicklethorn To-Do List drops from Sicklethorn Zappers with a 5% chance. Not true. The quest starting item only drops with 5 % chance if you are on the previous quest Who are you Fooling?.
Once you hand in the previous quest without picking up the to-do list, I think it’s is impossible to continue.
I saw that too. So now I cant move forward at all. I’ve taken out so many Sicklethron that they are now on the endanger list lol
Im just glad im not the only one with this issue, so maybe the fix will come in a few days.
World map gives you a quest symbol as if you can go to it and start the quest. Why not just make Sicklethorn To-Do List a regular item drop or add an npc incase you miss the pick up…

It is frustrating. Once I saw the ! for the quest I was like ok sweet. But after searching all over nothing at all. Hopefully they will fix it soon so we can finish the quest line.
I dont mean to be negative but im doing dungeons torghast and raid for next 5 days, i dont think we will able to progress covenant for a week, estimated que time for ticket yesterday was 5 bussiness days, but

Yea once I saw the ticket que, I just swapped over to my alt to start leveling.
This just happened to me and the way I got it was to invite someone to my group who was doing it and had them pick up the quest that dropped then share with me! It works, and I think the only way to get it back!

Yup. Same issue here.
I had the same problem. Submitted a ticket. One of the solutions suggested was to disable all addons and try again. I did that, killed one of the mobs it drops from, and got the item on the first try.
