hi, both trinkets (Zandalarian Hero Charm & Talisman of Ephemeral Power) gives sp, do they stack? as in can i use ZHC then ToEP before casting my nukes?
Most trinkets will go on cooldown when you use another trinket. In your case, if you use TOEP, you won’t be able to use ZHC until TOEP’s effect wears off.

Toep is better tho, and you should rotate between the two
Toep is not better if he’s a mage.
If he’s a mage with a mage team in raid they should all scorch then frostbolt 1 time to drop the scorch ignite.
After that zhc provides more upfront spell damage so when he combustions he will auto crit basically with a higher spell power fireball, leading to higher damage ignites.

with the length of fights you can use one after the other and have a big spell power buff for the entire fight.
Ehhh not entirely the best choice. You get a giant drop in spell power while one trinket not active. Might come out ahead for 35 second fights but having a spell power trinket like tear for second slot will still beat out two on use.
No. They have a shared temporary cooldown. Using one locks out the other untio the effect of the first one wears off. You can still do it, just not at the exact same time. I do, cause I dont really have anything better.
Well yeah if you have a tear… If you are rocking a reed or something even worse then my statement stands.
Only on fights below the combined use. You get nothing past and only value while up on each. Anything over combined it would still be better value to have reed.

Pugs clear bwl weekly on most normal servers. Reed is still a good option too. Right now I have few fights I’d have a chance at a second use of toep so it’s a trash clearing trinket at this point. For someone with longer fights going into cooldown it might work out to being better. There is no hard and fast rule but having two on use at one time has not been an effective choice for any class unless they just have nothing else for second slot.
I’ve hit every reset since BWL dropped and seen Tear a grand total of once.
The real answer between “ZHC vs ToEP” is:
Who cares, use whichever you want. Or both.
Read the rest of the post or don’t. Don’t care about your individual luck. In that case I’m guessing you use a reed over a second on use trinket, the origin of the topic.
Best to just use a Neltharion’s tear and an active trinket like MQG, ZHC or ToEP.
You shouldn’t use either ZHC or ToEP as a mage. You should use MQG + Nelths Tear.
Realizing Classic WoW exists post-double trinket, I have ZERO love-lost for not having ever stepped into classic. What an unauthentic game.
