Has anyone seen any in Pandaria lately? I took several trips around all of the zones, and I couldn’t find any veins anywhere. This feels weird
Because that ore is found in Cataclysm zones, not Pandaria.

Been doing a bit of gathering to work on professions and have noticed that the old nodes are right stingy these days.
I noticed it with Pyrite as well but Trillium seemed much worse

No, trillium (white and black) is found in MoP

Extremely so. Having to find a Rich thorium node to get FOUR thorium ore? I remember when base nodes could give up to five!

Well, I can’t help you with the ore problem but thanks to my handy dandy potion making skills, I can turn those Ghost Iron bars into Trillium ones.
You can grow it on your farm with snake vine seeds.

Khorium however remains rare. Now that nodes give only one or two ores, it’s all but impossible to collect any.
Are the trillium nodes rare spawns of the regular ore nodes in the area? If so, you might need to make a pass thru mining the regular ones so that the respawns might give a few trillium.
Go back when you dont need it…it’ll be everywhere, lol

I just dont even bother with anything needing khorium. Not worth the heartache and tears
Try talking to the bronze dragon person to go back in time to the old Vale and see if that helps.
Otherwise - plant the seeds on the farm, use alchemy or farm rares for the green bag they might drop that might have trillium in it.
Trillium is like anchor weed. You have to mine the ghost iron to get it to spawn. Trillium can spawn at any ghost iron node, so if you fly through a zone and see none, you need to mine out an area and then trillium might spawn in the new nodes that respawn.
I did this in Valley of the Four Winds in the Hozen area, and that had the most success for me.
It’s very rare – much rarer than anchor weed, but you can successfully farm it. It just takes time.
I would plant it in your garden. That’s the most efficient way to get it.

this also brings back the Spirit of Harmony vendors at the shrines (or whatever the vendor is called, they sell things for spirits for harmony).
so if you have excess spirits/motes of harmony laying around, or want to run through some MoP dungeons and Raids to farm a bunch, you could purchase trillium that way.
(or actually plant and farm the motes on your farm)
