I’ve had a LOT of failure in junkyard. Some of the trash sucks and if the tank doesn’t know the route plus idiot dps that die…
You’d think it’s easy. You underestimate pugs.

Yep! The tank was the questionable one of the bunch (1.7k, roughly; he wasn’t the problem with this group) but all other players were relatively geared alts of 2.8k+ io mains which absolutely blow this Mage’s measly 2.3k out of the water.
Could’ve fooled me though.
Man I’m tilted.
EDIT: All of them have at the very least 2-chested a +15 Junkyard, and one of them 2-chested a 19 and had several clears of the instance across various weeks.
You can’t even PUG ANY key some weeks.
Can’t go off Ilvl because the game gives you free 460 Ilvl.
Can’t go off Raider io because of carries.
Can’t go off of people reading chat because the game forces multiple countries on the same realm so there is a language barrier.
And on top of that some people just grief keys. This is one of the worst times to PUG anything.
There was a thread the other day where the leader of the group didn’t trust the applicant’s alt. Might want to learn from that, I guess.
I have a 12 key right now. Dps butt pulling and an over aggressive tank pulling mobs without thinking with end the key fast.
Some people chain pull on bolstering or bursting.
I pugged most of my keys and got the mount/title. I’m not a huge fan of it either but having started this patch months behind i didn’t have much of a choice.
Bad runs happens but its not nearly as common as i expected it to be.
Almost as if, like i keep saying it, you can get super high IO despite being a moron on easy weeks.
Hell this week is an easy week lol.

Can someone explain how to deal with a key like +15 Tyrannical Necrotic Junkyard? The slime boss specifically. How is the tank supposed to survive that? The boss autoattacks fairly quickly and will instagib someone else if the tank tries to step away to drop stacks. I’ve had some runs do ok at it and others that got walled there.
Is it really just a DPS race?
