I have the talent that makes tricks last 1 hour. But for some reason, sometimes when I enter a pack, my threat does not get redirected and all the mobs keep attacking me. Other times it does work and they go after Brann. What’s the deal with that? Am I missing something?
It’s also kinda annoying how Trickster does a lot of passive AoE damage when I’m trying to sap and blind mobs in a pack. I can break the effects without being able to control it. Any tips? Go Deathstalker? Thanks for any advice.
I just set Brann to tank. Don’t even bopther with tricks any more.
Think you need to make sure you actually aoe all the mobs to redirect. Opening with bladefurry seemed to help me. I find if i just open single target i will retain aggro from other mobs.

Ghostly strike > blade flurry. First hit from stealth doesn’t count towards ToTR.
Brann breaks CC too, even as healer. Don’t bother.

There’s been a bug with trash in delves that causes them to just ignore threat tables period. I’ve had them refuse to move with taunts, tank Brann, and actual tank friends in them.
Hit evasion, tank the hits, pop some potions. Not much you can do when the game ignores its own mechanics.
I set him as a healer and let him take healing aggro. He has to rest a lot.

Tbh, same as when he’s set to tank. The guy’s a turbo spaz and stands in literally everything while yelling “Don’t stand there!”
I guess there’s a reason he’s a huntard.

Tricksters perma tricks has been bugged on Brann for most of the expansion. Not sure why but I doubt they’ll ever fix it. I just play fatebound or dont play the node and use regular tricks on him, its up for every other pack anyway.
I also personally would recommend healer brann because he can honestly take as much punishment as tank brann but he actually you know… heals himself when hes low. Tank brann holds threat great but has no sustain and just dies every other pack.
I just alternate evasion 1 pack, tricks brann the next when I’m doing my delve 11s for crests. It should work just as well on lower difficulties.
