I think he might get a kick out of the pet idea if he was alive. When it attacks the other pet it would crack a joke.
He hated it when Disney tried to use his image and voice for merchandise and ads. He refused to work with them for a long period of time after Aladdin was released because of it.
That takes me back to the WoD beta when there was a big thread of sympathies on the beta forum when he died ⌠that then became a heated debate over whether it was an appropriate topic of discussion for the forum since it wasnât WoW-related ⌠which led to a barrage of suggestions for into-game tributes to make it WoW-related ⌠which was then followed (possibly coincidentally) by the quiet addition of that island to the game.
Except more of a puncher than a slapper.
but he did love video games
The shaman class mount is kind of like what it would be like to ride a genie.
what does it l-ook like
We also have Flubber in Maldraxxus and the Robot from Flubber has itâs own mount, it Mini-monâs Head or smtg
I liked him he seemed like a genuinely awesome human being. But he wore thin like pauly shore. A little bit went a long way
He was great at subtle comedy too - it rolled off of him very nicely.
I donât remember him being subtle. I know him for being over the top.
I guess jumanji wasnât over the top
Some of his stand up, he would do it. Some of his movies too. He would do some quiet one liner, while looking down⌠he had that stuff down pat lol.
what if they had a small island with a comedy club in it and they had Robin WIlliams in it and they would play his stand up comedy audio on repeat with a genie version of him acting it out.
Can it be Yrel?
what is that
No. No more pop culture or real life references in-game. Thatâs how we get entire zones just being entirely a movie reference that has nothing to do with the actual story.
Or worse yet, having to have those references removed/changed when we find out that person/thing did unsavory things.
A small tribute for someone deceased is the most we need. Which Robin Williams already has.
I donât really see why it should be Blizzardâs place to memorialize him. It would be pretty hollow and cheap, considering he has pretty much nothing to do with any Blizzard product. Itâs a bit of a dead horse to beat anyway. Itâs nice to remember people, but going on about it still years later is a bit of living in the past. The more appropriate MMO to ask for a Robin Williams memorial might be The Old Republic. He worked on core Disney products, there is at least some distant connection.
