Great, so what’s the reason to limit it to that exact moment in time? The act of doing the achievement isn’t dependent on anything but skill.

Same reason AotC and CE are a thing, reward players who were playing at the time and give them a goal they can show off in the future.
Which is what the title is.
Having the plate helm and shoulders is silly if everyone else can get the rest of the set.
Title are almost always the fancy thing.
Also the thing about aotc and CE is with aotc and almost always on the final boss of the expansion is a mount and good for them a mount CE is having the CE FoS nothing else.
Well now CE gives you a unique title but not a unique armor set.
So again the armor set should be fully farmable and the title should still be the hey you did this cool thing. when it was current.

I never understood why the rest of those mythic sets, of all things, was a limited time only thing. That raid wasn’t even an end game raid. They could of at least removed the title instead of leaving the mythic sets unfinished.

I have every piece except the helm and shoulders. Why are those two exclusive…?

Personally I don’t get their reasoning for it, but if they stated it’s limited time then it’s a limited time thing.
Except blizzard never said that set was they said the title was.
Hence why the rest of the sets are obtainable but they just didn’t re add the helm and shoulders for plate and w/e else for mail cloth and leather

Yes they did. Otherwise I wouldn’t have gotten my whole team together at the time to do it.
But the set wasn’t exclusive. You can get 6 out of the 8 pieces. For some strange reason they just made the shoulders and hat exclusive.

I agree it’s odd. I’m not fighting against that.
They need to insanely ramp up time limited rewards then. A dumb achievement isn’t going to come close to transmog. Not even in the same universe.
Consistently good or don’t exist. Anything else isn’t intelligent design.
