Seems like the phasing point/line is too close to the coast to get the second item (hordeside) for the aquatic form druid quest.

Same Here, when the map tranmit to “The Great Sea” the chest vanish, if I click in the chest fast enough its starts to open, but gives the mensage “Invalid Object”

Had the same bug. Went to Westfall to loot the druid alliance box and it worked !
17.32 in Westfall.

did you do this on a horde druid? I doubt this will work, for some reason.
Yes . Was playing a Tauren druid, got the quest at lvl 16. Went to barrens for first half of pendant, then to Silverpine where it was bugged. So -as Blizzard wouldnt answer my ticket for 2days- I swam and walked to Westfall from Gromgol …with not much hope , But surprise ! it did work =D

Having the same issue, reported it as well.
Go to Westfall instead of Silverpine. Horde can loot the Alliance druid box. I did it. I could loot the Half pendant of Endurance in Westfall as a Tauren druid.
the solution shouldn’t be “go to westfal” but blizzard fixing the buggy layers
