I have encountered this bug 3 times now.
During the trial of the champion, in both normal and heroic, I have not been able to loot the second boss. I killed it once on my warlock and twice on my DK (once in normal and once in heroic.). At no time did I ever get loot. The boss walks over to the center of the arena, spawns the chest, but never despawns.
At first, I thought it was because I was killing the trash before the boss too quickly, so I slowed down. The bug still occured. Then I thought it was because I was 1-shotting the boss, so I was careful to do damage a little at a time. The bug still occured.
Interesting to note that out of the 3 attempts, two were Argent Confessor Paletress, and both times she did not spawn the memory add that I’m supposed to fight.

Same problem also three days in a row with my hunter although I have had Eadric the Pure twice. When I had the Argent Confessor Paletress the one time she did not spawn a memory for me either. Neither boss despawned and the treasure box sat there unlootable.

Can corroborate.
When I tried it, Eadric the pure, once defeated, never transitions. Thus he never leaves combat or exits the arena. The boss chest is unlootable.

i have also had this happen twice…has it been addressed at all by Blizz?
Hold up, so this boss, Scarlet Monastery Inquisitor fight, Majordomo, Twin Ogron fight, and perhaps more all had their scripts break over the past few days if these bug reports are things to go on. Weird.
I have now filed 14 bug reports across 7 characters.
I didn’t do this to spam, but rather to make sure that as much info as possible to available to the team. However, I don’t think I’m going to file any more, and I’m going to hold off on farming Argent Tournament until I hear of a fix.
I’d like to add today same thing and had all addons disabled. Same issue.
I’ve fully documented the bug here. I’ll note that Gms I got said that this issue is known, but other things are priorities (it’s not even in the known issues list in the forum.)
I’ll also note that their may be a policy in place for the currency item champion’s seals. GM implied they were not allowed to restore them at all despite the very clear, documented, and obvious bug. So no seals, no gold, and no items can be restored from these bosses.
The boss registered as defeated in /raidinfo and I even could move on to kill the Black Knight boss as well. Despite this, GM told me they couldn’t verify I had credit for defeating said boss and thus could not grant/restore loot.

I had the same issue 3 times last week too (Eadric twice)
Happy to hear it’s fixed! Will try it when I log on later =)
Just did it not more than five minutes ago. Eadric seems to be working as he should and the chest was properly lootable. =D
