I was wondering what happened to Trial of Style as a returning player and I just wanted to throw my two cents out there but… Why doesn’t that happen more regularly? I just don’t see why it isn’t a monthly thing. Transmog is such a fun part of this game, I’d love more gameplay surrounding it. Just wanted to see what others thought!

It happens twice a year, as far as I know. The only holiday to do so.
Once in March, once in late August/Sept.
They have added a few things over the years, but if you’ve done it in the last two or so, you might already have everything.
It really suffers from lack of content, but I do agree that it’s plainly fun doing it.

Fair enough! Twice a year makes sense, I only vaguely remember stumbling upon it once when I was about 12 or something haha. As a 12 year old girl though I thought it was amazing and I did it all day lol. Still though I’d love if they had a mini version as a weekly or monthly thing.

They’re adding a bunch of new items to the Trial of Style vendors in the next patch, so there’s finally going to be a reason to participate in Trial of Style again.

Let’s hope it’s more armor set appearances, and not a bunch of meaningless things like the item that gives you a NPC that cheers for you, or not a bunch of boots that look kind of dumb on a lot of races.
Really wish they would add high resolution versions of some older sets.

It would be really fun if people actually followed the themes, at the very least. But sadly, you have people that go in there as NE/BE/VEs and wear their best provocative mogs. That or Taurens only wearing the Judgement set.

I think they’re finally changing the themes as well, from what I remember seeing in mmoc’s data mining.
I really wish it happened monthly. Last weekend of the month or something just a couple days.
A lot of the shop/speciality clothes revert to normal with the game updates. The clothes are fun, like the Sprite Darter outfit. But, it costs a small fortune if I want to keep my higher level characters looking fun every time the game updates.
Having a way to fix this at least once a month after all the updates would be very nice.
