Yay! I love it. I just won 1st place 3 times in a row. I follow the theme. I love dress up.(honestly tmog/dress up/my toons is the #1 thing that I play for anymore). Trial of style is so relaxing and fun to me. Sad it’s only twice a year for a short time, but I am really enjoying it as I always have.

Question about the rewards, if I’m on a plate class, can I not buy the mail/leather/cloth mogs and learn them, either on my plate character or by sending them to the appropriate class? It looks like I won’t be able to, but I just want to double check.
See and I think Mismatched Mayhem (and “Make Me Laugh”) are just awful categories that don’t allow people to actually make interesting mogs.
I got MML 3 times in a row the other day and I was salty about it.
They aren’t meant for serious looks. It’s a just for fun silly thing. It’s meant for people to have fun with.

Make Me Laugh can be fine. I whipped out my Diablo Treasure Goblin transmog for that one. But Mismatched Mayhem is just awful. My idea of the theme is to have two or more conflicting themes, like, say, badass demonic monster wearing the pretty pretty princess magical girl outfit, or a beach outfit with snowy tundra hoods and such. But clearly everyone else interprets it as just make the ugliest outfit you can think of with random colours and pieces. Which I guess works, but it’s not exactly creative…
