I did the quest and got a reward for the quest. I can no longer pick up that quest as I have completed it. But I did not get my first aid cap raised.
To clarify I understand that my skill will not be raised to 300 but rather the cap of my skill. And I am still CAPPED at 225 and cannot go past that.
Is this for WoW Classic? If yes, does Dr Gustaf VanHowzen in Theramore not have a recipe you can learn?
this is on my classic character in the wotlk sever.

Hello. I am also having this issue. I completed the Trauma quest in Theramore with Dr VanHowzen and received the Quest completion message, the Trauma Certification item and Heavy Runecloth bandages but I am still capped at 225 First Aid. I have tried zoning out and resetting my UI via the Blizzard Support site but nothing has worked.
Yes and I cannot make a ticket about it. I wish that there was some form of technical support instead of automated systems.
Yes, I am having same issue on Alliance Wotlk classic.

Same exact issue, tried to reset interface by renaming the WTF, Cache and Interface folders, and it made no difference. The cap is still 225 on my level 45 hunter in Alliance Wotlk classic, Mankrick server.
I was hoping that if enough people responded there would be a fix. But it seems like this issue is just going to stay. Im extremely disappointed but at this point I a don’t expect blizz to fix it.
This was changed at some point. You learn Artisan First Aid here in Silvermoon City: coords (77.6, 71.2)

You can train 225 first aid at any major city at the first aid trainer.
I am embarassed.
Yep, it was changed, see your first aid trainer to get past 225. Doh!
