I’ve read that in Cataclysm Classic, Resto Druids will be losing the Tree of Life form. Is that true and if so, why?
That’s when Tree of Life was phased out originally.
Back then, the complaint among resto druids not wanting to sit in the form and not being able to see their character was circulating, so Blizzard listened.
Coupled with being at an unfair disadvantage in pvp because you stuck out like a sore thumb and therefor were easier to target and funnel
/shrug
How is this different than retail atm?
Is there a way to remove the Tree of Life form Character in Retail like with a Glyph or something?
Well back in pre-Cata a lot of your healing was tied up in the form. You had to be in tree form to get your spells off (and healing bonuses).
Now its mostly cosmetic.
