I used the hellfire infernal for most of this expac. I’m perfectly fine not fitting through doors as long as the mount looks cool.
It also won’t be a flying mount. But wanna know what would probably be a flying mount? The enchanted spellbook one. Vote #spelltome
I’m used to tapping my mount keybind to dismount anyways 
IDC if it gets stuck on a puddle Ill still chase down orcs while playing a gnome.

The majority of mounts in game are flammable. Skin catches fire too.

I don’t think it will be: we have multiple quests from different expansions where we ride Ancients. I think they’ll just reuse that, have us holding onto the branches on their back.
