Anyone else have fond memories of flexing your different druid forms and dancing in main cities?
Some of the best moments for me were just going around cities with friends or waiting before dungeons and /dancing and talking with buddies.
Tree Form was added in BC.
It’s awful too. Didn’t get to see any of your gear ever.
Not that druids ever really get to see their gear even in modern wow. Except maybe balance druids with a glyph.
It feels like they use fewer forms though, which makes it less fun.
God I remember the battle over that on my Druid on these forums when that change was made. Between that and the Cata mana changes I spent way too much time on here. Pretty sure it was the only time I ever got quoted by Ghostcrawler.
Also isn’t Resto normally just caster form? There’s the glyph to add a cosmetic tree form, but Tree of Life is a CD is it not?
Tree Form was a permanent form at one time.
I mean, my alt was a feral druid, so shrug
Well yes, given I said that earlier. I’m saying now.
Yeah now standard is without a form for Resto. Tree form is a cosmetic glyph.
Y’all complaining about not seeing your gear are lesser Druids. Gotta get that EMERSION
Druids use to hump people and hunter pets in bear form in a guild I was in in TBC when we were standing around waiting. You did this by going into bear form and pressing the sit key repeatedly when positioned correctly.
When I was in tree form sometimes people would ask me to take my amulet off to see if the necklace disappeared in tree form. It did not.
Banishing Tree Form druids in PVP was fun.
Were you in my guild . I think I still have a screen shot from Karazhan of one of our Druids doing that.
It was a Horde guild, but I imagine it wasn’t that uncommon lol.
Tree form use to be your actual form while in resto. It was only changed to a CD a few expansions ago.
Tree form for resto was added as a talent back in BC I think. Although I could be wrong about this.
It was a constant/normal shapeshift healing form in TBC and WotLK and then changed to a cooldown in Cata. In TBC it also snared us.
TBC was probably the most unique resto druid class design period because it revolved around the original lifebloom mechanic that was high cost, but refunded mana when it bloomed, so you cared about the timing of adding stacks if you were worried about mana efficiency vs. HPS.
Yeah that’s what I remember. I could of sworn I remembered our resto druid back in ICC always being in tree form.
Oh we’ll be emersed alright. Resto druids on Oce servers, the perfect combination. Mwah. You see the importance now? Im telling ya. Cant have one without the other. Right?
Of course man! You’ll be immersed so long as your fantasy is being a druid who is speaking Chinese because we all know that’s where all the oce players are going to be forced to go when they don’t have their own server.
