Treasures without XP now?

thats just…dumb. there were 17k per treasure with rest. now ZERO XP. why blizz?

They don’t want you doing anything other then island expo’s to level so they can rehash em next expansion and claim they were a success due to how many people played em. While ignoring the fact that a majority of 120’s just ignore em and only lowbies really play em.

No…All draenor treasure xp and rep grinds were bugged since the bfa prepatch…something went wrong there, and they didn’t even bother to fix it.

I could have sworn I was getting XP from them on Alts since BfA pre-patch. I’ll log in later and double check. :rainbow:

Edit: I just tested it and it gave me XP. lvl 106 Rogue, with RB and WoW anniversary tabard netted me 22.444k in XP.

So unless it stops giving XP at the higher levels… Which is the possibility since OP made no mention of what lvl the alt was.

I was always under the impression that was he cutoff. Like, you can level in a 1-60 zone until 62, to finish up any quests you have, but then you get the “low level quest” warnings and the Exp basically vanishes. I expect treasures work much the same way. They don’t want you getting Exp from trivial content.

Archaeology still works, though.

You’re too high of a level. Move into content that’s appropriate for your level.

Treasures in Draenor have their EXP halved at like 105, then their EXP is removed entirely at like 107 or 108. What are you on about? Of course they aren’t going to give EXP at 113.

You’re like 23 levels above the intended level, 13 above the “max” intended level.

Well that’s a horse of a different color. No, new treasures don’t give XP. I find them worthless.

I don’t recall Kul’Tiras treasures ever giving exp.

We were told they would during beta, but I don’t think they ever actually got around to adding it to the chests.

I’ve leveled 3 toons to 120 and none of them got exp from chests.

7th toon, 6 as 120. the treasures are the fastest way to level. i know which works

I was getting xp on Draenor treasures earlier this week. Legion treasures never gave xp.

Just tested it on two 110s.

The one without the Anniversary buff got about 16.5k XP.
The one with the Anniversary buff got about 18k XP.

Maybe it bugs out at a higher level, but it appears to be working considering that you stated you know which ones give XP.

That’s because in WoD/Legion those treasure chests and such were static. They were always there for everyone until you looted them.

In BfA, most treasure chests are random spawns like the ones on Argus and Broken Snore. They spawn and then once someone loots them will despawn after a short time.

Blizzard probably removed XP from those simply because one person could be very lucky and hit a ton and another be unlocky and not find any. Whereas in WoD/Legion everyone had equal access.
