Had enough progress on a couple of toon to complete but it has been reset. Response from GM to post here as a bug. Posted this on wowhead and 3 others have responded that they have the same issue and 13 likes so it must be a common problem.

I have the same issue and was sent here by GM Smeovvooso. I have looted the blazing shadowflame chest and have the toy in my inventory (blazing shadowflame cinder) to prove it, but it is not ticked as complete. I have also looted the old trunk, the crystal encased chest, the charred egg, the well chewed chest, and the long lost cache – and these are also not ticked as complete.
Same issue, also with other treasures of… and other pieces I was working on toward the A World Awoken/Taivan achievement. It took weeks to get as far as I was and I would prefer not to start over, especially if doing so now messes it up further when it is finally fixed. Should we wait to keep going on achievements, or presume that we have to start over? Big question.
Same issue. All my other treasures of… achieves got reset as well. waiting to do anything more on them because i don’t know whether to start over or wait. It sucks.

I am in the same boat, as well. I lost progress through three zones and also lost all progress on the Tetrachromancer achievement…
