What’s up with the positioning of the treasure goblin event? Like, if an alliance guy wanted to run Orgrimmar, that’s fine because it’s far enough away from the main city. Why is the alliance’s goblin portal like, dead centered in a major part of the city surrounded by guards and pvp activating npcs? I genuinely don’t understand this one. Sure, the npcs can easily be beat, but the players are a little less relenting. Especially the ones geared with pvp stuff.

idk but this event is a massive failure for me. im not gonna sit around for an hour to find the event.
You can reasonably get Undermine (starts a tiny bit earlier) and either SW/Orgrimmar.
If you absolutely min-max it you can do Undermine + SW and then go to Orgrimmar on a low pop server horde alt. Last bit is 50/50.

What is there to min/max? A goblin is a goblin is a goblin.
Or are you implying that the Dorn, Org, SW Goblins have different loot tables?
afaik, it’s all the same thing. Blizzard just went out of their way (and to spread server load) to make it convenient by offering multiple locations.
But you don’t GAIN anything by killing goblins in different places.

I was only speaking towards getting what should be easy trading post points lol. Its just pretty dumb how alliance can get a smooth ride whereas horde has to literally dive head-first into enemy territory for those same points.
There’s a finite number of items you can buy, I am not even on for every perils event… maybe a couple a day. I’ll still be able to get all the recolors this month even though we’re going on vacation for a week.
Can’t wait for people min maxing goblins to complain next week there is nothing left for them to do.

I only do it for the jokes. I think i might have gone too hard on the legacy content farming because my right wrist hurts now.
I mean there’s every single legacy mount for them to get too. If they have done it on all their characters they can make more.

Yeah but the mounts are seperate from the goblins, I just don’t see why anyone would go out of their way to rush and try to hit 3 goblin events at once. Other than for laughs or just as a challenge once or twice to see IF you could hurry

The real question is what kind of crazy is trying to do this event in the main cities? go to undermine and farm goblins without any of these concerns. They spawn all over the place and very frequently.

Although I’m farming the Dorn one… same-same.
Hit the goblin at the top of the hour, then 45+ mins of mounts … rinse, repeat.

I’ve just been chilling in Undermine when I want to kill them, the portals pop pretty often so it’s better time spent, to me at least.

Undermine seemed to be more efficient. I waited 30 minutes for a single Dornogal. Meanwhile, I actually got worn out chasing the trio of goblin spawns in undermine. I bought 2 armor sets (wearing one right now) after an hour of play in undermine.

The main city ones are always at the top of the hour. You don’t “wait around” for anything. You log in at x:00 o’clock and it’s there waiting for you.

Thank you. I may do that as I have a character hitting 80 today from Timewalking I may run him around undermine hitting rares, goblins and world quests

If people are waiting a hr for spawns your doing it wrong, undermine is where you want to be. If you want ever hr go to a main city then back to undermine. If you have toons on different servers jump around a little. I have 2 sets left to buy then im done with them. The shards are transferable so it doesnt matter who gets them.
Yea. finished them all last night. Now I never have to go back. event done and I can put all my focus on mount farming and keys
Undermine is the place to farm if you want to knock it out. If you just want to do it regularly then hit up a city at the top of the hour.
