I’ve been at the spawn point on the hour and on the half hour 4 times this evening and have only seen the portal once. Am I missing something? It’s wild to me no one is talking about this on the forums if it is actually supposed to be every 30 mins.

That would explain it. What I was looking at on wowhead says every 30 mins. At one point I thought maybe it alternated between Storm wind and Dorn and no go. 3 out of the 4 were at half past though.
all my kills have been 1hour and then the 5min portal wait timer so tech 1hour 5mins and been killing it in Dorn everytime, so far 2 mounts kept 1 sold the other and been giving the pet away for free
I’ve sat for a couple hours in Org and it never spawned… it’s the only spawn site i’ve not seen so far
Are you outside Org? It’s not in Org proper, I think.

Indeed. It’s not within the walls.
The portal spawns a bit outside the main gates, in the Dranosh’ar Blockade area.
