what happened to the treant form?
my droods a freaky looking lil weirdo now.
and when I go to the barbershop I see the treant option. and it shows the old form the normal form. and it gives no option to change it and I’m stuck as this like goblin tree thing I don’t know what it is….
Came here to see if anyone else was having this issue >.> I tried to heal a dungeon last night and thought “OH I’ll jump in Treant form” and saw this hideous abomination instead of my normal tree and thought I had done something wrong.
Yup! Noticed this right away! I submitted a bug report about it this morning.
I don’t think they intended to give us the Haranir Treant Form lol…
Yes I noticed the exact same thing, My wife was changing specs and I noticed her druid treant was this ugly deformed tree and I was like what is that?!?!? Hopped into my resto spec and hit my treant form and I was also that ugly deformed treant too, please blizzard fix this.
I think it’s a bug; I’ll go ahead and submit a bug report; I’m pretty sure that is the Haranir tree form but it is showing up for all druids now
P.S. And it’s freaking scary lol
I’m hoping we get actual treant customization whenever/assuming they fix this bug. Been a resto main for ages and always play my tree, not a fan of goblin tree :c
I don’t think it’s bad but I’m not a fan of the spines coming out of the tree. I know they are putting spines on all the forms because Haranir have spines, but it doesn’t match at all.
I also heal in resto as treant form and they messed up our treant form! please blizzard fix this mess.
im big on the night elf fantasy of the game, and this treant form looks so ugly now that I refuse to play resto druid again on my night elf until they fix it back.
Please fix this blizzard. i dont want to look like a fish monster treant form. im a night elf!

It’s a bug. Every druid has the Haranir treant form right now. More importanyly, it looks disappointingly low-res; doesn’t bode well for the other new Haranir forms.
For some unbeknownst reason, bug or oversight, we are seeing the Haranir Treant form indeed. Seeing the Treant Form in the barber shop, however, does make me optimistic that more choices will be added for further customization, in the future!

That we don’t already have access to the different colored treant forms which have existed since Vanilla is ridiculous. That should’ve happened 15 years ago already.
I hate it! I want my funky tree form back. It still dances the same, at least. But it looks a fright, and it WON’T BURN when on a fire anymore.

I wouldn’t mind a race specific treant form, as long as it matched the race or was selectable in the barbershop
Maybe this means they are putting more effort into Tree Form and will take it off GCD
I’m kind of surprised they havn’t fixed this yet (but then not really) because its been bugged for a month now.

Well this is interesting. On beta you can actually change it properly at the barber shop, but ONLY if you are a Haranir. When first entering the barber shop its showing the Treant form even though your currently active form is Root of Life. You have to swap it to Root of Life anyway, hit Accept, then re-enter the barber shop and change it to Treant.
For the other Druid races it’s completely broken, just like it is on live right now. We enter the barber shop and select Treant Form tab at the top, and we see Treant form, but there’s no dropdowns to customise. Our actual form is Root of Life and cannot be changed.
It’s unclear if Blizzard’s intent is to give all races this new Haranir treant form with the customisation, and the bug is actually with the barber shop specifically not letting us change back to the old form, or if they never meant to give us the new one (and thus no customisation options and the broken ability to change in the barber shop).
I highly doubt that.

Blizzard no longer follows the “push it out when its ready” mantra. They follow more of a “push it out when its passable, and fix it later on down the line” mantra.
