Treant Form question

Hey!

So as a resto druid, I absolutely love this glyph and I always use it. However, sometimes when I shapeshift into another form and then cast a Resto spell to return to my base form (eg: I use HoTW and Convoke as a Moonkin, then I sometimes hit Rejuvination to HoT/heal an ally and revert to my Resto form), it actually removes the glyphed version and returns me to my “normal” nightelf self.

Is there a macro line or something that I can add onto my healing spells that will keep me in my treant form even as I swap between different shape shifts?

Not currently no. The treant form used to be back in older versions of wow specifically for restoration healing. Now it’s just for cosmetic purposes.

Actually… when I was playing with my macros a while ago, I noticed that I had to use [form:7] for incarnation “form”. Stag form was 6.

I wonder if:

/cast [noform:5] Shapeshift(5)

Or something like that would send you to treant form? The idea here is that form:5 is treant? I don’t remember why I had to use 7 to shift back to incarnation tree.

Bear=1
Cat=2
travel=3
moonkin=4
5=???
6= mount form
7= incarnation

is how I THINK it goes

Unfortunately, I can’t test this for you for a couple days.

Thanks for the replies but I just found out that the Treant Shapeshift itself costs a GCD, even though it is purely cosmetic. I was hoping this wasn’t the case for a purely cosmetic glyph. So it might not even be worth it to bother :frowning:

It also doesn’t protect you from Poly and it doesn’t break roots. It’s p bad :frowning:

looks so cute though, I love the little treant form jig/dance

You will always have to spend a GCD to go back into treant form after being taken out of it.
