Agreed. Seems like a pretty useless change.
Maybe its for the druids that got annoyed when random people mounted them… idk

I think its so people who want to play scuffed-cheetah don’t have to give up their ability to carry a rider.
But by that same logic why don’t we have Lunarwing Form as an extra button then. I hate being a 1/2 Mario 1/2 Pidgeotto (look at it, you can’t unsee it) so I glyphed sentinel and thus cannot carry a rider.
They still are mountable. Its just that you need to buy a tomb from the order hall in order for it to be mountable. Travel form is not mountable but stag for is. (Like how normal flight form isnt, but the lunarwing form is)

Doesn’t this mean that mountable ground form is always limited to 40% speed? Thats how it works now and the tool tip in the change log matches that.
Which means it’d be borderline useless. I really hope they didn’t pull this BS just to keep people from using Druids as a travel form taxi in the Maw. “Should we disallow travel form in the maw or just gimp travel form everywhere?”

Nah the separate stag form is full ground mount speed. I imagine this change is just so people aren’t riding around on the other forms you can pick at the barber now (like how people can currently ride you as a cheetah if you glyph for it).
Currently you don’t give up your ability to have a rider as a cheetah. It looks really dumb, I love it. But I guess someone at Blizz hates it.

Wait does that mean my raptor form has a saddle for no reason? This “balancing” act blizzard plays is nothing more than a time sink. Why limit mobility for one class? Of all the things to fix in the game at least give a buff. Like giving priests a mobility buff. Demon hunter’s glide has been used to do so much worse if exploitation is their excuse.
For me I would rather have them not screw with my travel form ability. I want to be a mountable stag and a mountable bird… sure change aquatic form i guess? since there is no utility tied to it. if you are going to make a change to any of it. Make a glyph JUST LIKE TREE FORM. where it is its own button. dont mess with my travel form button. i dont want to have 2-3 keybinds for what i have 1 keybind for now
In BGs I’d always mount them and /say if I slap your bum would you go faster?

So if I’m in a party with my partner, how would they hop on in my travel form? I get a lot of joy from easily carting them around and, because they’re not a great nor quick player, this could feel pretty bad. Why change this?
You still have access to it, just through a different button (stag form) as opposed to the standard adaptive travel form.

This has to quite possibly be the dumbest thing i’ve ever seen.
I legit cant understand who sat down and decided this was a good change; its quite possibly the most smooth brained change i’ve seen in a minute.
What I find really annoying about this is that I end up with different key binds for my mount form based on whether the spec I’m in has moonkin form or not. I could wouldn’t have a problem with this if it was always in the same slot, but since it puts it at the end of the form row, it changes.

Just make a macro for it or drag the spell for the form out of the spellbook. I dont even use the stance bar, it does nothing a normal bar cant do better.
