Trash Alliance Architecture

Generalizing all of Horde style and architecture is akin to generalizing all Alliance Architecture to trees. The fact of the matter is there are beautiful places in the horde, like Silvermoon. Suramar, Thunderbluff, etc.

I think you’re looking for retail general discussion. This is the classic forum.

Horde architecture is pretty awful. One thing I miss as a Horde is the cool cities like Ironforge. Ironforge has the be the single coolest zone in the game, I love it there.

Suramar isn’t a Horde city, like Thunderbluff and Silvermoon are.

Taste is relatively subjective.

My favorite city is Undercity, both for the layout and the theme, personally.

Undercity totally captures the fantasy of the undead and The Forsaken. I would argue that it’s probably the best designed and most well thought out capital.

It’s too bad that most Horde don’t use it anymore because of “muh worldboofs.”

Thunderbluff looks like it’s made out of paper.

That’s funny, my friends who I play on this server with (and the only reason I went horde) all love Undercity as well. I personally hate it and it’s probably my least favorite capital city in all of WoW. I much prefer Orgrimmar and TB.

If I’m picking my favorite city overall, it’s definitely Ironforge. There’s something about climbing up the snowy mountain road in Dun Morogh and seeing the entrance of the city built into the mountain side, and then you walk inside and it’s almost orange from the blazing fires and the giant forge. I can just imagine it being extremely warm and cozy, with good ale and delicious food.

If I’m picking a Horde city it’s probably Orgrimmar, but it’s really more like choosing the lesser evils, as I really don’t like any of the Horde cities, or really any of the Horde outposts etc.
