Trap Launcher rune bugged

When you click on the box to open it, you get a message saying that it will bind to you, you click accept and nothing happens

Anyone else is having the same problem with the rune?

Yeah, the icon of the item just appears as a question mark for me

where is this box?

“Jewel-Encrusted Box” - 212553
“Rune of the Trapper” - 212549 - “?” Icon with tooltip of “Retrieving item information”

Cannot be looted from the box in inventory.

Also can’t loot the rune

Just stuck with a question mark and “retrieving item information”

Yeah I had the same problem but I was able to fix it by closing wow and deleting my cache folder in the classic era folder.

Has anyone checked if it has an arming time yet?

If it is its quick seems to go off immediately upon landing tho it does make a big aoe visual on landing.

“log out and delete cache folder” - fixed it

Just did this and it works!

Thanks!

Can confirm that this works. You have to go into WoW > classic era > WTF > Account > Your Account > Your Server > Your character, and delete the little cache file, then load up the game

yoyo have the same probleme to you i deleted my cache fold but nothing happne

yeah, fix it by deleting your cache folder - that is inside your wow folder, and log back in. Then loot it again out of your bag.

did it like 10 time nothing happen

This didn’t work for me either, deleted Cache.md5 a few times and logged back in with the same error. super lame

There is a folder called Cache in your wow directory, rename it oldCache then restart the game. Worked for me.

Followed the instructions carefully 4 times now and no change. There is no Cache folder in the spot you guys are talking about. There is Saved variables folder and a list of files, no other folders. There is also cache.md5, tts-cache-character, tt-cache-character.old, macros-cache, config-cache.wtf, chat-cache. That is whats in the location you all are saying. When you say delete the cache FOLDER do you actually mean Program Files (x86) > World of Warcraft > Classic_era? the cache folder there? Or maybe the WTF folder itself?

Ok, I did what you suggested. The aforementioned delete cache folder at WoW > Classic era > WTF > Account > Your Account name > Your server name > Your character was wrong for me as there is no Cache folder there. My guess is it is set up different for others for some reason, who knows why.

I did the WoW > Classic_era > changed THAT cache folder to “OldCache” and logged back in and it worked as Shorsie explained a few posts before this.
