Transparent camera blocking

For the love of god… Can we please get the ability to have trees, building, everything, that blocks our camera view of our playing field to become transparent or at least translucent? This is entirely stupid that we can’t see at times and should have been implemented years ago.

SHOULD have been implemented years ago? explain.

I’m not sure how you don’t follow? Comprehension problems or other? Other games have had this ability for years. Being blind by stupid object shouldn’t be a thing in this game.

you seem to be quick to insult when all i asked for is a clarification. based on this explanation i decree this is working as intended and should NOT be implemented forevermore.

Yes. In some areas, I spend more time repositioning my camera so I can see what I’m doing than actually doing the stuff.

If you do archaeology, you’re looking around for a little piece of rubble on the ground, which you find via a surveying tool whose direction and color you need to be able to see to find said item, and then wait to see a little light above your character’s head.

In heavily vegetated areas, seeing one, if not all three, of these things is hard enough to make an otherwise enjoyable pursuit pretty frustrating.

If vegetation and other obstacles (weird rock summoning circles, etc.) became translucent when you were close, that would solve this frustration.

Insult? Perhaps you have a persecution syndrome, but I was not insulting you. Like you, I was simply asking for clarification. You may now go troll another thread.

Thank you! This is one of the main reasons I hate doing WQ’s in the pretty forest area (forgot how to spell it).

I’ve had less of an issue with dynamic cam, but I know what you mean. Seems worse with my race…surprise this hasn’t been brought up more often.

This is a great idea that makes camera work a lot easier to manage mid game.

I think it’d be a nice change.

I think the devs use the viewpoint as an extra difficulty for some encounters. Think about the 3 mobs in SD before the gauntlet - it’s so hard to see what’s going on in that narrow corridor.

Tol Dagor last boss, anyone?

Personally I think it sucks that backing into a wall makes us completely blind, but I genuinely think it’s intended.
