Will I lose my 415 belt/leg transmogs if I drop blacksmithing? Wanting to pick up JC since good rings are hard to come by for me.
I believe so. As far as I’m aware, if it requires blacksmithing to wear, it requires blacksmithing to transmog, and all the highend smithed stuff I see on wowhead appears to require blacksmithing to wear. Sorry =/

Yes, you will lose access to the xmog if you drop the profession.
They didn’t change that when they removed the rep requirements.
It looks as if your question about current items is taken care of. There are some older profession transmogs that you would keep.
You wouldn’t lose ones like: https://www.wowhead.com/item=32570/swiftsteel-shoulders because it doesn’t say “blacksmith only”, even though you had to be a blacksmith to make a bop item. You also wouldn’t lose https://www.wowhead.com/item=23520/ragesteel-gloves because the “blacksmith only” applies just for the set bonus–a lot of people are unclear on this wording from BC.
