I think the player base would throw a fit if they didn’t copy and paste the Legion transmog UI.
CATA Classic should be just like OG CATA.
Same timeline, same progressive patches.
All Original.
No Changes.

I believe it’s implied to be the Legion version, due to the wording of the Twilights Hammer Transmog Set being awarded with the Cata Classic Deluxe edition

Yes, from the looks of it, it will be modern UI for transmog. Collection system is already in the client. It will be like it was in SL/BFA I think. But not like in DF. In DF, you can collect Mail tmog on your leather toons and collect plate on your cloth users now. So items must be usable to be collected/earned.
Classic & retail run on the same client. Overly simplified, but they could easy copy-paste the entire Torghast into Classic if they wanted to.
OG Cata tmog sucked. Modern version is much better.

It’ll be better with some tweaks and modifications. Gear-based transmog instead of a collection system was a major issue with the system that they thankfully rectified later. Void Storage was part of the rat race of “how do we give people enough storage to keep gear they might transmog”. Might not even need Void Storage if they do system-based mog retention instead of item-based mog collection.
Appreciating these attempts but Mcg will never reply. I’m pretty sure they’re an AI chatbot that is set to just reply on any post talking about changes. Very blatant trolling.
