They’ve only been a “demon hunter thing” since Legion.
There weren’t any demon hunters in BC → WoD.

The character that did the farming and all the associated achieves should be able to mog the glaives.
My DH didnt do any of the those things yet gets to reap the reward. thats a bunch of BS.
It’s a demon hunter thing.
I wanted the transmog for my monk so bad I actually farmed both warglaives on this character in the hopes that one day I would be able to transmog them. I have them both equipped since its the closest thing I can do even though they are useless at my level. It feels cool running around as a monk with both of the warglaives equipped. Sometimes I wonder if I’m the only monk in the game that actually has them but I’m sure there are some others that do. It doesn’t make much sense that multiple classes can loot and use this item but cannot transmog them. In game the azzinoth warglaives are labeled as swords so I think at least those should be able to be used by all classes that can use swords. The hand of ragnaros can be transmogged now as well as thunderfury, so why not these? I do think it would be cool if everyone that can use swords could transmog warglaives too.
My proposal is that any account that has earned the demon hunter unlock should be able to use the transmog on any character that owns both warglaives and can equip them.
