Transmog: Vile Fumigator’s Mask

Sorry if this has been posted. I searched but didn’t find anything.

I would like to ask why the ’ Vile Fumigator’s Mask’ cannot be used as a transmog target for clothies.

Any information would be much appreciated.

ps:
If not yet created, i would request the transmog be just the mask and not the tanks. there could even be a series of gas mask like mogs with different colors and what not.

Because no fun allowed and that mask is too cool and fun.

In seriousness, from what I know in order for something to be transmogable is has to either match your armor type (weapon type is less strict) and have stats (other than just armor number), or just simply be a cosmetic item. Unfortunately the mask doesn’t have stats.

I remember how disappointed my brother was when he couldn’t transmog it on his undead warlock.

If this is the case, then they could add a stat (ie: stam+1) in the database (item-id 50741) and it would be mog-able

literally less then a minute to change and push

then again, i seem to remember the stipulation was the item had to not be grey or white rarity… and that was it

2 things that erk me about the mask

  • Why can’t it be mogged, even if seasonal
  • Why is it only cloth?

The pumpkin head from Halloween has no stats and is mog-able if I remember correctly.

There was a player, “Catie” something or other who lobbied for this from teh inception of transmog. Alas, never happened.

Just mark it cosmetic. There is no reason we shouldn’t be able to mog it during the holiday.

it could be due to the back pack part of the mask.

therefore i would request something new… a cosmetic piece that would be transmoggable, but it would only be the mask and not the tanks.

while you’re at it, as with other moggable pieces, make a few different colors and maybe some with effects and/or different gas mask types.

Blizzard pls. We can wear pull pajama sets now and you have a backpack that is plague themed that needs this mask paired with it.
