I’m getting back into the game after a few years. I been wondering if there is any pirate looking gear for mail.
I seen some on people’s profiles but not sure what armor class it was.
Any transmog masters can help me out?

You can always hide your chest/shoulders and xmog one of those swashbuckler’s shirts.
The Alliance questing gear/BoEs for BfA are decent for stuff that’s relatively easy to get.
There are a couple mail eyepatches as well.
My advice for people looking for xmogs is to just make sure you’ve got the “not collected” filter selected in your appearances window and just keep scrolling the pages to the right. Find the names of the stuff you think looks good and just plug it into wowhead to see where you can get it.

Overall leather and cloth have more pirate-y looking stuff imo but you can still achieve the look in mail. There’s a few hats that are cosmetic so you can wear them as any armor type.

Yeah was told you’re stuck with what you can wear.
I’m a shaman so stuck with mail looks.
Seen some barnacle looking sailor gear but I forgot what profiles people had them on. So no idea what they were.

A LOT of the Kul Tiran questing and dungeon sets have the swashbuckling look complete with Trifold hats in BFA…You’re playing on the wrong faction methinks lol

Looks like it but it was some pirate hat that was covered in them, looked piratey. Some BE was wearing it in their profile so know it’s probably some quest gear maybe.

Ah, well that’s either the leather or cloth benthic gear. Those definitely look a lot more “piratey.”

Unfortunately, you can’t use them on mail characters unless a miracle happens and they drop the armor type restrictions for transmog.

Hey hey, ho, ho those armor restrictions have got to go.
They should let up on it, whatever you class can wear should be what they can mog. They can just restrict plate to plate wearers and let everyone else wear the other stuff as mogs.

Not sure if my mog updated on form yet but I put together a piratey set. The hat is purchased from the BFA Island vendor, the gun is from a quest chain, the armor is from some BFA content, don’t remember exactly what specifically. Looks like my mog hasn’t updated in the forum profile yet.
in dressing room shirt looks bit weird, normally the cuffs are big and puffy like pirate shirt (duh)
