To change my outfit on a character costs ~700 frigging gold! Some cost even more than this, as I didn’t mog every slot. With gold-making particularly difficult in BfA, transmog needs to be significantly cheaper - no reason looking fabulous should be unaffordable for new players and even some vets.
inb4 Yes, I realize we had free x-mog last week w/Trial of Style, but that’s over now, thus the point is moot.

The game throws money at you. 700g is like a couple of mins worth of work. So no, xmog costs are fine.
do emissaries and weekly expeditions cap, enough gold for tmog, flasks and repairs
I’m a miser when it comes to spending gold. I would probably transmog more often if it were lower.

Why do you change outfits so much?
Are you doing this for rp or something? You can keep multiple outfits to equip, and reserve your best gear for when it is needed.
Completely agree, it’s pretty much a gold sink.
What are you changing that takes 700g? The most I’ve spent is on a set and that was like 300g or so.
Trial should have at least lasted a week.
Okay, real talk. Why are you changing your outfit that often? Are you replacing your gear that often/quickly? Because if that’s the case, maybe hold off on mogging something you’re going to replace within a few days.
This is a problem that you are creating for yourself. It’s the same problem as folks who decide they only want one set of Azerite gear, then get upset that the respec cost is so high because rather than get two sets, they want to swap roles with just one.
I’m not saying I can’t afford to tmog my 25+ toons. And I don’t change outfits very often. But i was just thinking the other day - why does it cost anything to tmog?
Then stop doing that for a while?
