Transmog one handed for Fury warrior

Since single minded fury is purposefully sub-optimal for fury, I’d at least like to mog single handers over my two handers.

I have so many good looking one handed weapons i would love to have in fury vs the two handers. I don’t see how it’s a problem to mog to one handed items over the two handers we use for optimal play.

Would be great, but I would prefer they actually balance SMF properly and make it within a percent or two of TG so both are viable. Same with 2h Frost.

At least remove SMF as a talent and just put it in the baseline kit. That would be a start for balancing SMF.

Honestly, though, I don’t think they can balance SMF as long as it’s a talent while Titan’s Grip is free, because picking up SMF will always place SMF one talent behind in power unless they make a build-mandatory talent that’s basically worth 2 Talents (which seems to be what they’re trying to do with that new Frenzied Flurry buff).

Personally, I’d rather they rework the whole tree slightly. Give fury Raging Blow for free instead of Titan’s Grip, and in Raging Blow’s place in that must-take second talent row slot create a choice node between Titan’s Grip and Single-Minded Fury. Better yet, fold Single-Minded Fury into Titan’s Grip as something like this:

Titan’s Grip
Requires Warrior (Fury)
Requires Level 10
Allows you to wield a two-handed melee weapon in each hand. One-handed weapons deal increased damage and provide more Strength, Stamina, secondary statistics, and tertiary statistics.

Basically, fold them together and allow 2H and 1H weapons to be used interchangeably. Now, if they REALLY wanted to make me happy, they’re also add this:

Titan’s Grip
Requires Warrior (Fury)
Requires Level 10
Allows you to wield a two-handed melee weapon in each hand. One-handed weapons deal increased damage and provide more Strength, Stamina, secondary statistics, and tertiary statistics. Shields you wield count as an off-hand weapon and deal damage when auto-attacking and using abilities based on their armor rating.

Now, THAT would be chef’s kiss!

Wait what? Really? How bad is it?

More transmogrification freedom! I’m still waiting for my hide pants option.

YES.

I think it’s like an overall 10% decrease from using two-hander weapons. Honestly you just get more bang for buck using two-handers then wasting a talent point for SMF and getting One-handers.

It’s always a few percent worse and you have less health. Basically no reason to play it as the devs intentionally leave it undertuned because awkwardly holding big goofy 2h weapons is the spec fantasy.

Well, I don’t push progression, so I’m guessing I’ll be okay? I hate 2h. They’re all too big. :slightly_frowning_face:

This makes me sad. I hate Titan’s Grip. :sob:

Imagine taking a piece of gear off, like just playing without a belt or boots. That’s kind of what it’s like to play Single-Minded Fury over Titan’s Grip.

Same, I understand that for some races they could easily wield two-handers in one hand but for some of us we’d prefer the flexibility and speed of one-handers. More in line with the Berserker fantasy.

All I know is when I equipped 2 1 handers, had the SMF talents, the 1 handers were a few ilvls higher than the 2 handers I had and DPS went down by 4-5k so it’s horrible.

They brought SMF back in SL to kind of satisfy the dual wield one hander trope.

Honestly I prefer SMF, but when it’s that horrible sorry. That’s also why I wish they would give the same treatment to MotFW for Frost DKs and make 2h Frost not have spend points to play it. They did the same, brought it back in SL, then pull this BS. Sometimes I wonder if it’s because the current Dev team are all from the same cut as Ion they can’t grasp the concept of more choices equals fun.

This is why they just need to open up Mogging our 2 handed weapons to 1 handers.

They could do that, but I am going to keep pushing for them to actually put forth the effort and balance it, rather than letting them take the lazy way out.

We as players should not be letting them take the lazy route.

What about those degenerates among us who are playing SMF daggers?

I don’t know why it either isn’t baseline or a choice node you have to take as the first point in the talent tree with TG.
