My transmog hasn’t been working since the big pre-expac update. Half of my collected appearances do not appear as transmog options when I go to a transmogrifier. The appearances are still recorded in the collection’s appearances window, they just don’t appear in transmogrification options. I can get some missing appearances to appear in the transmogrifier if I choose to load a saved outfit, but otherwise those same appearances are no longer there when I scroll through.
I thought it might be related to third party addons but I already removed any addons and the problem is still there. This is across all my characters.
I have tried to open tickets and have had no help from Blizzard, the only reply I got from Game Master Ixzal was to go to the forums.
Have you done a full UI reset (as detailed in Support article linked below) to rule out a misbehaving addon or corrupted UI?

No, these are items I have collected over the years. For example, the heroes dream walker set from Wrath of the Lich King. It is not available in my transmog options, but it is visible in my collections tab. I have it saved to an outfit in the Transmog window, so I can make it appear that way, but if I try to look for the items they are not there. Equally on alts, if I get a new item of their armor class, it appears in the collection tab, but when I try to transmog it, it is not visible.
Are you using the search function to look for the individual pieces OR are you manually sorting through each armor piece?
I have noticed that some pieces are not searchable any longer, but are in fact still in the list.
