I don’t want to be a total complainer, because i know Blizzard just meant this to be a segway into the expansion, but i was pretty sad about the armor transmog for this event. its pretty meh, and I know they can do better than this. its a recolor at best, isn’t it?

The Alliance sets are semi-interesting. The Horde sets are just pink.

That you got the reference was all that matters 
The transmog should have been new.
They have the money, they have the people. They’ll make the excuse that they were still too busy tuning Shadowlands (which is still a crazy disaster).

They had a plethora of skins to choose from. This one doesn’t even feel like it fits the theme of the invasion.

For special events - most do. For run of the mill, sure - but this should have been a “last hurrah” plus “HELLO” for Shadowlands. While tepid meh does pretty much summarize this expansion, you would think they would want to launch Shadowlands with as much fanfare as possible. This does NOT bode well for my expectations for what is to come. This indicates it should be called Shadowbland.
