Transmog are one of the reason I hate retail. When everyone looks epic, no one is. You can be in greens and look like a god killer with everything glowing. The charm of classic is, yeah, you look bad for a while, but it makes it so much better when you finally get good looking gear. Also, it’s way more immersive when you get what you see.
No transmog in classic.
EDIT: The only transmog I would accept is changing the colors of something.
