Transmog in Anniversary would be PERFECT

Everyone would be happy if we had transmog. You would awaken more players into the cosmetic grind if we had transmog. It’s gotta be on the same level of appreciation as dual spec. Surely you forum dwellers agree as well, right?

no transmog :expressionless: your gear looks like what it looks like

I doubt this is so.

retail has it :expressionless:

I think gear should be a reflection of the items you have equipped

Sounds like you want to play retail champ. lol

I’d be in favor of transmog if we eventually find ourselves in WotLK Anniversary. Perhaps change it to where it is disabled in PvP and/or only you can see it. You’d appear as you otherwise would to all other players.

I am biased in favor of it since it appeals to my obsessive/compulsive nature. I want to believe, or at least I like to think, that transmog would also serve to keep players engaged with older content once said content is otherwise no longer relevant.

Don’t you have a change coming to era to protest? You know, class restrictions being removed from AB item rewards. Would think that’d be a better use of your time than once again telling people who play Anniversary, a version of the game you don’t play, what they can and cannot have.

No thanks. The last thing we need is transmog. It fundamentally changes the nature of the game.

I had a friend like this. It is not healthy to live like this and he got a lot better after therapy.

having to wear gear that makes you looks like Bozo the Clown  is what makes classic gear great.

It isn’t so pronounced that it could be considered disruptive or unhealthy. Probably more along the lines of a strong fascination than anything. Where transmogrification is concerned, seeing the ratio between appearances collected and total appearances decrease is satisfying. It certainly compels me to keep collecting. Really just an extension of what I already work to collect without transmogrification such as tier sets.

Ultimately, if they were to add it to Anniversary servers I wouldn’t protest and if they didn’t add transmog it wouldn’t keep me from playing. Can take it or leave it.

classic vanilla gear looks fine :expressionless: there’s nothing clownish about it

I mean, excepting Hunter T2…one of the most clownish sets of all time IMO. Lol

Hunter T2 is pretty flamboyant for sure.

flamboyant but not clownish :expressionless:

i don’t know, if you seen me running by in this gear you might mistake me as a circus clown.

dang, that’s just objectively wrong. You 100% can not make a cohesive argument for this lmao
